Umpires
- All umpires must be certified (insurance coverage) as per UMB policy.
Contact the Umpire Coordinator or check the Softball Saskatchewan / Saskatchewan Baseball websites to find out dates and locations for umpire clinics.
- Umpires should have a pair of steel toe shoes/runners (preferably black).
- The protective equipment in the Umpire shed. Please return the equipment after each game.
- If umpires wish to order any type of umpire clothing/hat, check out www.homerunsports.com . Unity Minor Ball can assist by placing the order, however, umpires are responsible for payment for clothing.
- There are some donated grey pants, light blue (softball) and navy (baseball) shirts in the Umpire shed. It is asked that they be returned CLEAN at the end of the season.
- Each umpire should have a key to the Umpire shed, to be handed back in at the end of the umpiring season.
- Umpires will have a booklet in the shed to complete after each game and have the manager/coach sign. Keeping accurate records is important as this information is used by the Treasurer.
